Meet Michelle
Michelle Moriarty
Michelle’s classes emphasize presence, accessibility, and quiet depth. She was first introduced to Yin Yoga in 2016, a practice that immediately resonated and has shaped her teaching ever since. She is especially drawn to Yin Yoga as a way to counterbalance the pace of modern life, offering students space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with their bodies in an honest, compassionate way. At the heart of her teaching is a commitment to creating and holding safe, supportive space—one that allows students to grow, heal, and transform at their own pace. Her classes blend functional alignment, intentional sequencing, and subtle guidance that supports both physical release and nervous system regulation. Michelle creates environments that feel steady, inclusive, and thoughtfully held, inviting students to meet themselves where they are, without expectation or performance.
When not teaching, she values slow mornings, simple rituals, and intentional practices that support sustainable movement and mindful living.
Yin Yoga: Tuesday & Thursday 11:45 AM
Yin Yoga is a wonderful complement to many other types of yoga and exercise. This slow, meditative practice works with the body’s deeper connective tissues and fascia while inviting us to slow down and turn our attention inward. Most poses are passive or supported and practiced on the floor, where we remain still for several minutes at a time. Rather than striving to achieve a particular shape, we allow the body to gradually soften and sink into the shape of each pose, giving ourselves time and space to open, listen, & release.
Yin Yoga is for all levels, including beginners. Come as you are, get grounded, and feel supported.
As a resident at Limberva, Michelle takes and processes her own payments and waivers.
